Reflaunt has a global network of leading pre-loved marketplaces and technology that instantly lists pieces across multiple channels, giving you the best chance of seeing your items sold to another customer.

What is the service?

NET-A-PORTER has partnered with Reflaunt so you can resell pre-loved designer items with ease, convenience and flexibility.


Our effortless service allows you to resell your ready-to-wear items, shoes, bags and jewelry and choose how to receive payment once they have sold, whether it be as NET-A-PORTER store credit – with an extra 10% added – or cash via bank transfer.


You can also resell selected bags from pre-approved designer brands for instant store credit before it sells. You will receive the store credit once your item is checked and approved by our expert team.


What can I resell?

You can resell your ready-to-wear items, shoes, bags and jewelry in brand new, excellent or very good condition. Make sure they have been washed or dry-cleaned, and have no holes, marks or significant alterations. The item does not have to be originally purchased from NET-A-PORTER.


Please note, we do not accept the following:

  • Luxury watches
  • Swimwear and beachwear
  • Activewear and bras
  • Lingerie, tights and socks
  • Hair accessories
  • Counterfeit items
  • Handmade pieces or designer items that have been altered
  • Items that have not been acquired legally
  • Items whose sale is contrary to the law
  • Items with a hygiene or health risk
  • Products with offensive imagery
  • Items in exhotic material
  • Tailored products

You can also resell selected bags from pre-approved designer brands for instant store credit. The bag does not have to be originally purchased from NET-A-PORTER. We accept bags in brand new or excellent condition from the following designer brands:

How do I determine what condition my item is in?

  • Please refer to the below definitions to determine the condition of your item(s).
  • Brand new: The piece has never been worn or used and is as good as brand new.
  • Excellent: The piece has barely been used or worn and has minimal signs of usage.
  • Very good: The piece has been used or worn and has some signs of wear.
  • Good: The piece has been used or worn and has moderate signs of wear.
  • Moderate: The piece has obvious signs of wear (hard scratches, stains).

Where is the service available?

This service is currently available in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany and Hong Kong. Stay tuned for further updates when we expand to more countries/regions soon.

How does it work?

If you are selling ready-to-wear items, shoes, bags and jewelry, the process is as follows.

Please note you need to sell a minimum of three items to use this service. This helps us deliver the best service to you and contributes to a reduction in the amount of CO2 generated by each shipment.

Please note that we are constantly monitoring this service and piloting multiple new solutions, that may result in future changes to our service conditions.


  • We offer a complimentary collection of your items
    There’s no need to send your items to us – we will collect them from your home, or you can choose our drop-off service.
  • We evaluate and list your items
    Our expert team will take care of the photography, pricing and product description of your items. The price of your items are based on an algorithm that takes into consideration market trends, demand and the item’s condition. Once you approve our pricing proposal, we will list your items across our global network of marketplaces simultaneously.
  • You are rewarded
    Once your items sell, you will have the choice to receive payment as NET-A-PORTER store credit – with an extra 10% added – or as cash via bank transfer. The amount you receive is the full amount quoted in our pricing proposal.

If you are selling selected bags from one of our pre-approved designers to receive instant NET-A-PORTER store credit, the process is as follows. Please note you can sell one or more bags within this service.


  • Receive a quote
    Upload images and details of your bag and we’ll provide a quote within 2 business days for you to approve.
  • We offer a complimentary collection of your items
    There’s no need to send your items to us – we will collect them from your home, or you can choose our drop-off service.
  • You are rewarded
    Our team of experts will review the bag and once you accept our final quotation, we’ll issue your NET-A-PORTER store credit so you can start shopping.

When will my items be ready to resell?

It usually takes our team of experts 8-12 working days to review, price and photograph your items before they can be listed. We’ll email you once your pieces have arrived and will confirm when they are listed. You can also view and keep track of resell items in your Reflaunt account under My Wardrobe.

Where are my items listed?

Your items are listed across 20+ of the most reputable pre-loved marketplaces, including Videdressing in France, Hardly Ever Worn It in the UK, Rebelle in Germany, Tradesy in the USA, Zalora in Asia, Afound in the Nordic countries, as well as eBay.

Can I change my mind about selling an item?

Simply email customerservice@reflaunt.com and confirm the details of the item you no longer wish to resell. The sale will be suspended once you have received a confirmation email and the product will be returned to you within 30 days.


Please note: if the item has been on sale less than 180 days, a returns fee of 15 () per item will be incurred. For more information, please refer to our Terms And Conditions.

How do I know when my items are sold?

Once a sale has been confirmed, we will notify you via email and you will then receive payment via NET-A-PORTER store credit or bank transfer.

Why was my item declined?

Every item is reviewed by our team of experts. If it doesn’t meet our guidelines, we’ll be unable to resell it and we will return it to you. We will charge 15 () per item and send it back via our courier . If you’d prefer not to receive it back, we can donate it to a charity of your choice at no additional cost or recycle it. For more information, please refer to our Terms And Conditions.

How do I ship my pre-loved items?

You can choose from the following options:


  • Arrange a complimentary pick up collection by selecting your preferred date, time and address.
  • Schedule a drop-off time at one of our selected drop-off points.

Then place your items in a parcel and attach to it the provided shipping label. Please remember to use only one shipping label per parcel (unless otherwise specified by us). You’ll receive an email once your items arrive in our warehouse.

Where do I find my shipping label and shipping instructions?

Your shipping label will be emailed to you within 48 hours from when your resell request has been submitted. Simply click download and view your return instructions.

Can I change my scheduled pick-up?

When you arrange a collection you’ll be asked if you can be flexible with the pick-up time as the driver may arrive up to two hours earlier than your selected time slot. This is to help the driver collect other resell items in your area and reduce our carbon footprint. Please try to avoid making changes where possible.

Is my item covered against loss or damage?

You are responsible for all risk or loss or damage to the Item until We take physical possession of it when it reaches Our warehouse. We accept the risk of loss or damage of items only when (i) We take physical possession of the item(s), or (ii) You use Our approved, pre-paid shipping label and Approved Shipment and the label is processed into Our approved shipping vendor’s tracking system. If an item is damaged, stolen, or lost while in Our possession or during Approved Shipment and the loss is confirmed by the courier, it will be treated as Sold and We will refund value of the item. If the item is priced, the price will be based on the amount disclosed. If the item is not priced, We will pay an estimated purchase price. Such Estimated Purchase Price will be determined by Our sole discretion based on the information provided and the item’s estimated price net of all commissions, cost of shipping and duties. How is my payout determined?

Our team of experts review each item and define the price based on a pricing algorithm that takes into consideration market trends, demand and the item’s condition. Before anything is listed, you will receive an email with an estimated net payout for your approval.

For the resell service, what is the difference between my payout and the payment I receive?

There is no difference between them. The payout you agree to resell your item is the entire amount you will receive once your item sells, net of all commissions, cost of shipping and duties.

For the bag resell service, what is the difference between the final quotation and the payment I receive?

There is no difference between them, as the final quotation you agree to resell your item is the entire amount you will receive, net of all commissions, cost of shipping and duties.

Can I reduce the resell price to sell faster?

You can decide to reduce the price of a listed item at any time to increase your chances of making a sale. Simply sign in to your Reflaunt account under My Wardrobe to amend the price.

How does the Smart Pricing feature work?

You can select this feature when you first list your items. This allows you to automatically reduce your payout by 15% every 45 days, with a maximum price reduction of 3 x 15%.

How long does it take to receive my payment?

It can take five working days for payment to be issued or store credit to be uploaded after your item has been sold. For bank transfers, please then allow a week for the payment to reach your account.

How do I spend my NET-A-PORTER store credit?

You will receive an email once your NET-A-PORTER store credit is available. Simply sign into your NET-A-PORTER account, add the items to your shopping bag and the credit will be automatically deducted at checkout. Please note: your store credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Can I transfer my NET-A-PORTER store credit to family or friends?

No, your NET-A-PORTER store credit is non-transferable.

Where can I see my store credit balance?

Simply sign into your NET-A-PORTER account with your registered email address and password and go to My Account on a laptop or PC. You can also view the store credit balance on the checkout page when you make a purchase.

Your store credit will be issued in the currency of the country where your items were picked up or dropped off. If you wish to shop using your store credit in a different currency, for example to Euros, this may incur a currency conversion.

How can I change my Reflaunt profile details?

You can modify your email address and phone number under My Profile. For address changes, select My Address Book. If you need to amend your bank information, you can update this under My Wallet.

I forgot my password.

You can reset your password from the sign-in page here. You will then receive an email with the instructions.

I already have a NET-A-PORTER account. Why do I need to create a new account?

Reflaunt is a partner of NET-A-PORTER, so your account is not linked. To start reselling, you will need to create a Reflaunt account. Please use the same email address as your NET-A-PORTER account when registering with us to ensure your store credit is applied successfully when selected as a payout option.

How do I delete my account?
